I agree with this topic and I would like to add some info in the step of how writing a speech outline and proven method can be follow when doing presentation speech that I found in the internet. After found a good speech topic or public speaking idea and after researched information for the main points and sub points it is time to regroup the speech ideas, views, evidence, testimonials, facts, and figures.

Take simple how-to steps for writing a speech outline :

1. Know what the speech rules.
2. Choose the right format to make a first draft.
3. Fill in points want to make.
4. Tweak till all writing topics smoothly meet the requirements.

• Speech outline sample for grouping speech topics in a topical speech outline. This pattern, also called the logical, categorical or classification arrangement, is for informative and entertainment speeches.
• Speech outline template for arranging speech topics in chronological order including 6 sample outlines for a public speaking speech. The chronological, or time sequence or temporal, whatever you like to call it, pattern is for an informative speech, personal experience or in problem cause effect speeches on backgrounds.
• How to write a speech outline in a spatial order and specific outlines for grouping your speech ideas. The main criterion is this:
- Choose these speech outlines when your points are related physically, geographically or spacially.
• Sample motivational and persuasive speech outline including speech writing tips.

I agree with the topic, and I would like to tell some basic speech outline.I found it in the internet.Hopefully that student can use it. It is simple,I hope people can understand.

The familiar advice for basic speech online for logical element like :
- Tell to the people what are you going
to say(Introduction)
- Tell them (Body)
- Tell them what have you said(Conclusion)

Then combine it together and we can start of a generic speech outline.

As you knows, structural elements for basic speech outline have 3.It is introduction, body and conclusion.

a generic speech outline :
1. Introduction — Establish topic and core
message; List supporting
points
2. Body
1. Supporting Point One
2. Supporting Point Two
3. Supporting Point Three
For the body, limiting yourself to your best three points.

3. Conclusion — Recap main points; summarize
core message; call-to-action
Incidentally, this same basic formula can be seen in novels, short stories, movies, plays, reports, business briefings, emails, memos, and many other forms of communication.

from that outline, now i know how to write a good outline and take a good topic for the speech. Before that, i don't know how to write a good outline sppech and i always make a mistake when i write a outline speech.
My lecturer always give her comment to my ouline. And from that example, now i know how to make an outline speech. And here, i have some example of to make an easier outline speech ;

1. Introduction

What is the topic of your speech?

Why should the audience listen to your speech ?

What will your main points be?

2. The body

What are your main points and ideas (sub-topics)?

What is your supporting evidence and information (sub-sub-topics)?

3. The conclusion

What were the main main points of your speech, and what do you want the audience to remember?

Note that the presentation outline is not a word-for-word script for the speech but an outline of ideas to serve as an organisational and presentation tool for the speaker.

To become a great speaker is not only depend on how the speaker attract their audience, but the details of the topic is the most important at all to make sure the audience give all attention to your speech.

Just like us, we will be bored when the speech is not interesting. The example above is detail but I want to add something to make sure the speech become great at all.

Your attention must have an attention-getting opener and preview of the body. A good introduction captures the listeners' attention immediately and can make the audience interested in the rest of speech. In addition, you can start your speech with quote or fact.

Then the introduction must be followed by transition.Transition after the introduction is important to review the the information just presented and to preview the next section

The body of the topic.Arrange the points of your speech in a clear, logical manner. You can choose the best one organizational pattern that fits your topic to describe the problem such as past-present-future, time, problem-solution, location, cause-effect,effect-cause, related subtopic and advantages-disadvantages.

Transition before conclusion is compulsory in any speech. This last transition act as a signal that the speech is about the end.

Lastly, the conclusion of every speech needs a summary of the information presented. Remain your audience of what you said by repeating the main points covered in the body of your speech.

I suggest all students should use a speech outline before make a speech. A good speech needs a guideline works. Whether it is an informative speech, an impromptu speech, a persuasive speech,or any types of speech.

Firstly speech should begin with an introduction or welcome, this is important because an introduction or
welcoming the audience puts them at ease and allows them a moment to get an attention to the speaker.

After the introduction and welcome, a thesis should be written. The thesis is the speech opening, the place where the speaker will tell the audience what information is about to be taken. This doesn’t need to be long. It can be short as one sentence or as long as three or four sentences. It should tell the important message the speaker wants the audience to remember.

Next, make a body of the speech is where the presenter elaborates on the topic. The body should have a logical progression of facts and details. Placing a fact first, then following it with examples, details, and supporting evidence is the proper order. Once one fact has been thoroughly covered, another fact with its details can be introduced.

Lastly, the conclusion is the place where the speaker gives the audience a recapture of the points made during the speech. The speaker should tell the audience once again, what he or she just told them. Clarifying the points into a short, targeted summary will help the audience members keep those points in mind as they leave. It also helps note-takers take take a a note about the speech.

The conclusion may also be used to motivate the audience to action, to appeal to them for help, or give advice on the topic that was covered. Once the conclusion has been made, the speaker should thank the audience for listening. This is important to express a good mood to the audience.

The speech outline for the speech writing may be organized in this manner:

~Thesis or Introduction
~Body
~First Fact
*Details and supporting evidence, examples
~Second Fact
*Details and supporting evidence, examples
~Third Fact
*Details and supporting evidence, examples
~Conclusion

By using this three step outline for writing a speech will make the task easier and will keep the speaker focused on your speech. The audience will appreciate the clarity, because the organized thesis, body, and conclusion will drive the main points of the speech.

Four Things to Do to Expand Your Speech Outline Into a Speech...

Putting together an outline is hard work. But let us say that you have completed that step. You have worked on an outline. Now you need to turn it into a speech. In this article you will see four things you should do that will put meat on the bones of a speech outline. In short, for every one of the points in your outline you should do the following four things.

The first thing you should do is clearly define and describe the point. You have a point, don't make it hard for people to understand your point. Clearly describe it as succinctly as possible. This will help the hearer know exactly what you are presenting.

The second thing you should do is give the reference for your point. Where did your point come from? Did you read it in an article? Then cite the article. Did you read it in a book? People want to know that you have studied the subject. If you have a reference, clearly present it.
The third thing you should do is illustrate the point. Please tell how the point looks in real life. Give an example of that point. This helps the hearer understand the point.

The final thing you should do is apply the point. Here we get at relevance. The people will understand the point because you have applied it to their particular circumstances. When you illustrate the point, you are applying the point to humanity in general, when you are applying the point, you are showing how the point looks in the lives of the people you are directly addressing.

If you want to effectively turn an outline into a full scale speech. Take every one of your points and do all four of these things to each one. Then your speech will almost write itself.

In this entry, you have showed us how to make a speech outline. It is very usefull to us when we are doing a public speaking. Every speech outline must contain introduction, body and conclusion. Each part plays important role to make the speech interesting but for a good speech, its must have a good introduction that can grab all audiences attention. The main goal of a speech introduction is: introducing speech topics and your purpose. Make them want to hear the rest of the public speaking speech.
A good introduction is the same as making a good first impression. So, greet you audience and hosts, look at them, take a breath and then immediately grab the attention with one smashing oneliner. That first line contains your persuasive or informative claim. I will share with you five simple tips to make good introduction for speech.

1. The length of the introduction paragraph has to be in balance with the total speech length. If you talk for two or three minutes, then don't write an extended introduction.

2. If you talk about a complex or controversial speech topic you have to help your audience to orientate. Take time to draw the context.

3. Avoid broad sweeping and too general statements.

4. Ask a friend what she or he thinks of your introduction text. Ask for the level of expectations after the speech introduction.

5. Be clear, direct and straightforward in your public speaking speech writing efforts. Lead your listeners to your arguments in the middle or body part. That's the main purpose of the end of a speech introduction.

Thank you.

If you want your speech is look great, you need to make an outline speech first.
So, here I have some tips before you start to make a speech. Hopefully you can take these tips for you guidelines when you want to make a speech.

Firstly, you need to have an introduction in your speech. In introduction, u should be tell audiences what you want tell them. What is your title of your speech? Then, you also need to make a quotation. It is means you make a joke, you try to asking people, or something related with it. Next, you also need to tell a background of your speech to audiences before you go to the body of speech. So that, audiences can understand what you want to tell them.

Secondly, you should be having a body in your speech which is statement 1, statement 2, statement 3 and the next. You also need add the supporting details in every single statement that you have in your speech to make sure audiences can more understand to your speech. The supporting details are an elaborate sentences and it also can support your idea in a speech. You also can put something like picture or graft chart to show or to make your speech more strongly.

Lastly, you need to put a conclusion in your speech. It means you need to summarize what you already tell them just now. As a conclusion, you need to give some advices or any sentences that can make audiences will be remembered your speech and also you.

That’s all. Thank you.

Assalamualaikum...

Creating a speech outline enables you to formalize your thoughts in order so you can construct your speech effectively. The actual writing for the speech comes last. If you prepare a speech outline, your speech writing will be far easier. An outline will not only organize your ideas but help you link your points. It will give your speech focus.

There are many different ways an outline can be written and you should do whatever works best for you but here are some points to keep in mind when creating your speech outline:

1. Divide your outline in to four sections – Topic, Introduction, Body and Conclusion.

2. Under Topic you need to note the topic of your speech, your objectives for the presentation, the type of audience you are presenting to and the main points you wish to cover. Setting out the information like this under Topic will help you analyze what your speech is really going to be about and how you would like to pitch it. Now you can move into the actual speech itself.

3. The Introduction section will look at setting up your speech. You may like to start with an ice breaker so note down how you will do this (with humor, anecdote, quote, etc) This ice breaker will in some way be related to the topic of the speech and it is here that you note the topic/ purpose of your speech, for example, “Discuss the relevance of homework in today’s education system.” Next you will need to present why you are giving the speech – what makes you able to speak knowledgeably on the topic. “Jim asked me to be his Best Man because we’ve know each other since our first day at school.” Following this, you should note the main points you will be discussing and why you will be using these points in your speech. Now you are ready to move on to the body of your speech.

4. In the Body section you will look at your main points further. You will need to move from the introduction with a transition sentence so note this down in your outline. Now write down all your main points and number them in priority. Try to have between three to five points. Keep in mind how much time you have for your speech and delete those that aren’t vital. List all the supporting arguments for each point. Decide the order in which you are going to present your points. Begin with the most important then go to the least and work back up to the main point and re-emphasize this.
5. The Conclusion will be reached with another transition sentence. In this part of the speech you will be re-summarizing the main points and emphasizing the most important ones. You will also need to finish with a sentence that leaves a lasting impression on your audience. You can think of this as a ‘take-away line’ that attendees will use when discussing the merits of your presentation.

Now that your outline is in place you can begin to write your speech.

I would to add some basic speech outline.

1. Introduction
2. Body
3. Conclusion

Similarly, the basic speech outline template for logical elements is the familiar advice:

1. Tell them what you’re going to say
2. Tell them
3. Tell them what you’ve said

Put these together, and you have the start of a generic speech outline:

1. Introduction — Establish topic and core message; list supporting points
2. Body
1. Supporting Point One
2. Supporting Point Two
3. Supporting Point Three
3. Conclusion — Recap main points; summarize core message; call-to-action

It is surprising how well this simple 3-part outline template works for a wide range of speech topics. Incidentally, this same basic formula can be seen in novels, short stories, movies, plays, reports, business briefings, emails, memos, and many other forms of communication.
